Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. We are here with the next iteration of the Weekly Roundup. There is some crazy generative art news going on this weekend. A new release on fx(hash) has broke the record for most mints for a single generative art project and it’s still minting. There is a lot of great art coming out this week.
Lets dive in.
One quick thing to talk about. This article will be more gif heavy than usual. I found some software to use called ShareX. A really easy to use screen capture software that converts the files to gif automatically. The quality is really nice and I like that I can showcase animated art in a better manner. It also works really well with sharing on social platforms.

Price: Free Mint.
Punevyr and fx(hash) released glyph on Thursday as a free mint. It was released with a new update to the fx(hash) platform that adds frame minting. This is a direct integration with Warpcast and minting from a frame in a message without leaving their website. This allows the artist to share their project in a cast and for the minter to get a seamless mint experience on the social platform. Watch the gif below to see the process in action. If you are new to Warpcast read this article by Zeneca to learn more.
The mouse isn’t visible, but I’m pushing the buttons at the bottom of the image and it’s all minting within that message. You can get multiple free mints through this frame without paying gas. So make sure to refresh it and mint some more when it’s done with the first. Very kind of fx(hash) to cover the gas fees for this release.

Then it reveals the mint right there after it confirms on the blockchain.
This project has now reached over 168,000 mints in 2 days and still has several days to go. That blows the previous record out of the water. Zancan released Aux Arbres on Highlight and it ended up at 76,205 minted. Pretty incredible for both projects. Really excited to see how high glyph can go. A few of my mints below.

Mints on Tuesday - 256 pieces in the set. - Frame Minting
Price: 0.00125 ETH (Base)
Another project that will use the new Frame Minting technology. It combines photography, poetry, and generative art together. You get a glimpse of scenes in some and others are a lot more obscure. I got some really beautiful abstract outputs while exploring it. I really like how unique this project is.
The territory of memory is not a linear space, it is constituted from the interpretation and rescue of fragments, just like the image that is completed in the specific perception of those who observe it, both contain much more than what is seen.
After all, how many images can fit into other images?
Experimenting with the different possibilities of human x machine interaction has been an object of interest to me for a long time, especially the developments of the image and its perceptions.
In addition to the common interest in using technology to synthesize the real in a way that is more real than reality, I am interested in thinking about where the unimaginable lives in perceptual space.
From a pre-defined set of images, the algorithm appropriates randomness, in a semi-autonomous process that reveals unique visual experiences, reinforcing the inevitability of change and the transience of all things.

Mints on Wednesday - 20 Curated pieces in the set.
Price: Details of the sale will be added shortly.
I had the pleasure of meeting itsgalo in Marfa last year. He’s had some great releases on fx(hash) in the past. I love the way colors and shapes flow in these. It’s going to be a very small curated batch. Was hoping to bid on these, but I think I’ll be priced out fairly quickly. It is very beautiful work.
BASALT GIFs is a curated series of 20 animated digital paintings made with a custom real-time software built with Processing. Each piece is uniquely generated through a stochastic generative process involving simulated gestures, limited color palettes, video feedback, and graphics quantization algorithms. The gestures repeat themselves continuously producing pigmented trails which bleed together and slowly fade out as their lifespan on the canvas diminishes. The animations loop seamlessly and are made of 90 unique individual still frames.

Mints on Wednesday - 198 pieces in the set.
Price: 0.015 ETH
The next project from the LET IT FLOW series on Alba. Studying and pushing the boundaries of flow fields. This one uses shapes and solid color as the base and then builds on top of that. The tones are a lot darker in this project and it has some great color pairings.
Through NOISIA, I aim to craft an immersive experience where beauty arises from the simplicity and harmony of visual elements. Avoiding complex formulations, the project focuses on the essence of artistic expression, inviting everyone to discover the magic of colors and shapes in a digital context.
Inspired by the history of underground art and the dynamics of flowfields, this collection celebrates experimentation and authenticity. By embracing a multidimensional approach to art, NOISIA offers a sensory experience that resonates with a modern audience.

Mints on Thursday - Not sure how many are in the series.
Price: Details of the sale will be added shortly.
Not a ton of information on this project as of now. There are only 14 iterations to go through currently. It may be a small curated set as well. This project really gives me glitchy analog vibes and leaves me with a nice nostalgic feeling. It’s a wonderful mesh of distortion and colors.
This series delves into the close relationship between RAW and RAD formats. RAWs are the initial, unprocessed matter that serves as the foundation for the emergence of RAD. These RAWs are 9/16 horizontal video screenshots that capture my attention with their striking colors, patterns, and compositions.
