Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. We have a pretty big article this week. Fx(hash) has finally released the $fxh coin and opened up the first artist coin releases. I’m going to talk about how some of it works before I cover two projects that came out last week. I haven’t been this excited about a release in a long time. We have our Rodeo mints of the week as usual and I check out a few drops from Objkt as well. I also decided to share two artists I really love and some of their works I’ve collected on Objkt over the years. We have plenty of art to check out this week.
Lets dive in.

Releases on Objkt.
I don’t know if I’ll do this every article, but I wanted to showcase some art I’ve collected in the past. Here are two artists whom I respect so much in this space.
Mek - One of a kind artist at the top of their game. I love collecting his landscape work.

Rezva - An artist based out of the Ukraine. Just an all around amazing human. I love the Sova series she does. I’ve happily collected the whole set. Patiently waiting on the next release.
Fx(hash) Protocol - A New Era in Generative Art - fxhash.xyz
So… Big news. fx(hash) opened their coin $fxh for trading and a few of the artist coins have started as well. There is a lot to talk about. The way we collect some of the art on fx(hash) is changing in a huge way. The old style of minting will still be there, but the really big releases on ETH are going to be different from now on.
I’m going to share a lot of information straight from this overview.
fx(hash) Documentation Overview
We will cover some of the basics on how the coins work. I recommend reading the overview though, it covers so much information.
This is a new era in generative art creation and collecting. It’s pretty damn amazing.
I don’t think I’ve been this excited for a release in a long time. $fxh went live and I watched the coins activity on dexscreener. Waiting on ciphrd’s new drop. When it released and his coin opened for trading the site was flooded with activity. The page wouldn’t load and everything was struggling to keep up. If that doesn’t take you back to early days of collecting I don’t know what will. But these things can happen with major releases in any market. After about ten minutes of trying and waiting and then trying again. I was finally in and I had swapped some of my $fxh for my first artist coin $ciphrd. And then I minted my first piece in this new era of fx(hash). This last week has been a wild ride and it’s just get started.
Now lets get to the $fxh protocol and how it works.
The $FXH protocol is a powerful foundation for creating, collecting, and evolving generative art in ways that push artistic potential to new levels.
The protocol powers art coins: art-driven currencies that unlock a new medium called open-form generative art.
We’ve had long-form. We’ve had short-form.
Now, fxhash introduces open-form: a dynamic, evolving, participatory medium where the artwork is shaped in real time—by both artists and collectors.
This isn’t just a feature. It’s a new medium.
When you mint a new piece you are paying with the artist’s coin. Purchasing each coin with your $fxh. Now every coin will have it’s own price which can and will fluctuate over time. Ciphrd’s coin so far has been the most sought after and has kept a higher price. I can already tell you certain artist’s coins will be bought and held long term by some collectors and flippers. Each coin is deflationary, burning when you mint new pieces.
Each time you mint a piece you have a choice of rerolling it for a new one. I think each reroll is around .001 ETH + gas. When you find the one you like you can lock it. Which then opens up the ability to evolve that piece.
Every locked edition becomes a seed—a source from which others can evolve. Evolutions generate mint fees shared across the lineage.
Great seeds earn. The better your curation, the more others build on it.

This part is very cool. If you like a mint or get something super rare. You can evolve that piece and mint a new piece of art derived from it. Starting a family tree of works. You can evolve the evolution and keep pushing that seed. Each iteration costs the same as a new mint and you keep the originals. One of the releases we look at today uses this evolution to create blocks in each new iteration. Using the evolution process in a playful way to interact and create.
If you are new to the fx(hash) scene, getting their new coin is very easy. Buy and swap $fxh to art coins using the new FXH Protocol interface, built directly into the site.

Ongoing Mint - 2080 Minted
Price: 45 $ciphrd + .001 ETH
Ciphrd is the owner and creater of fx(hash). They have one of the first releases on the site when it first opened, RGB Elementary Cellular Automaton. One I’ve had the pleasure of collecting.

When fx(hash) added Base, an L2 on the Ethereum blockchain. He was the first to release a project. Genomes
I’ve always loved this project, but had never collected. Well that will change. We are going to collect two of them and are going to giveaway one to our community at The Culture Project. Be on the lookout this week in our discord for the giveaway to start.
Here is a video of Genomes #1 below. I have music playing with the video. So audio off if you don’t like synthwave.

That brings us to his newest project Generations. The first to drop on the the new protocol. I went in pretty heavily on $fxh having the airdrop and then almost doubling my holdings. I’ve believed in them for so long and they have only delivered over time. I ended up minting one Generations, but I think I’m going back for some more. I have been slowly collecting $ciphrd as the price has dipped some. Not that it has gone down that much. It’s sitting around $0.17 as I write this article. At it’s highest during the release it got very close to $0.50.
At current prices it would cost around $10 to $15 to mint one.
Here is a shot of the mint page for Generations and all the mints by graph. With the core mints being the “ball” and all the evolutions branching out around it.
The animations for this project are so damn cool. There is music again, so beware.
Generations #591 headed to my Vault.
Generations comes as an introduction to open-form, a new genre of generative art that's inspired by Darwinism and natural selection. This collection focuses on exploring open-form through the lens of the very concepts that inspired its creation.
The first generation of organisms receives DNA that is slightly mutated with each new generation. Mutations might introduce new and interesting behavior, or, true to nature, defective ones. However, in nature, survival of the fittest dictates which genes are passed on, whereas in open-form, selection is effected by humans via a large-scale social exploration of algorithms.
I started to work on this project alongside the design of the FXH Protocol, and the two greatly influenced each other. I'm quite excited to see how you will explore this algorithm but am even more excited to see how artists will explore open-form as a new medium.
While I've been working on this project for many months, it hasn't yet reached its final state. Because the FXH Protocol allows artists like myself to upgrade project code, I'll slowly bring in my ideas over time to keep pushing Generations to new places.
This project is meant to be executed, not enjoyed for its static outputs.

I decided I wasn’t going to go all in on all four projects that released this last week. I had to be picky and choose who to mint and who to cover in the article.
The other two projects are worth checking out though. They are also two amazing artists.

Ongoing Mint - 1621 pieces in the set.
Price: 10 $Eboy + .001 ETH
eBoy is a new name to me, but apparently they have been around since the 90s. They are a pixel art group founded in 1997. After looking into their work I knew a few of their pieces instantly. They have such a cool style.

Once I checked this project out and saw some towers forming I decided I wanted to give this mint a go. I knew I was going to evolve it a few times and see how it went. I’m super happy with the outcome. After the third evolution I can’t help but see a little guy in a hat and tuxedo.
Each evolution costs 10 $eboy and a small amount of ETH. I now own three iterations of this piece at each stage as it grows. It keeps the basic structure of the background, but the color changed every time. I also have a little naked person in my background, which is hilarious. Some of the towers I’ve seen are incredible. All the different color schemes, mono colors, and the crazy structures that form. This has been a fun one.
Here you can see the graphic for all the mints and evolutions. Someone has evolved and stacked 37 times!
TOWR generates modular, pixel-art-style towers by combining predefined building blocks with randomly selected color swatches. Each tower is procedurally assembled, featuring unique floor objects and color palettes, set against a tile-generated background.
