Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. Hope you all are doing well. I am a little late on my post this week, but better late than never as they say. I’m showcasing the normal Rodeo mints, but also thought I’d share a couple random things I minted on Objkt as well. Picked up a few pieces from artists I have been following for a long time. We also have two ongoing mints to check out on fx(hash). There are some AI projects dropping on Verse this week as well. Check out their upcoming section if you want to see them. They weren’t really to my taste.
Lets dive in.

I really love the look and feel of these. They have such an alien world vibe to them. It really looks like an abstract sci-fi landscape.
The SENTINELS, with their cold, diamond forms, reign over an unsettling realm. Their presence exudes an aura of solemn guardianship, shrouded with unease. These are not friendly guides; they are silent arbiters of the unknown, both protectors and judges of the enigma that is their terrain. As you gaze into their world, let these haunting apparitions remind you of the vastness of the cosmos.
The SENTINELS beckon you to explore the sinister beauty of the abyss, to question, and to wander through a digital realm where the eerie and the captivating coexist.
Paranoia is a necessary skill whenever a SENTINEL is involved.
SENTINELS is not only an exploration of the sublime-it also empowers collectors to generate physical artifacts from the void.

I really enjoyed exploring the params on this. Such a wonderful minimalistic project, which I think is using flow fields. I like how it progresses throughout the piece. It’s peaceful yet chaotic.
Each iteration is made by accumulating small changes and shown in series of cells. The lines are contained in shapes, and sometimes overflow.
This is an exercise in process over composition. The grid gives structure for marking progress, but the work isn’t about precision. It’s about rhythm. Growing, filling, containment and breaking loose.
