Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. We are here with the next iteration of the fx(hash): Weekly Roundup. It has almost been a month since my last Weekly Roundup. The longest break I’ve taken yet due to the holidays. I wanted to focus on some family things and the Looking Back @ 2023 articles. I’m happy to be back to look at some amazing art coming out this week.
Lets dive in.
Naiadic Variations by benjamin e
Mints on Sunday - 128 pieces in the set.
Price: 10 Tezos - On-Chain
This is a wonderful animated abstract project. Based on water fountains at a lake. It represents the flowing and morphing movement of water. I really enjoyed watching the different outputs. Check out the links below each one to seem them live.
Naiads are water nymphs, creatures from Greek mythology that hang out around small bodies of fresh water. They are typically depicted in human form but I like to think they're more watery; more fluid and flowing and formless. I came across some recently while making some work with fountains...

Chaotic cascade by Nicolas Lebrun
Mints on Tuesday - Open Edition - Closes February 16th
Price: 1 Tezos - On-Chain
Created with flow fields and Clifford attractors to make some really interesting objects. Clifford attractors are a type of iterative equation that traces a particle's path through a 2D space. When you zoom in it looks a lot like dot work. These really feel life like at times.
This project is an experiment with Clifford's attractors.
The title refers to the way in which the drawing reveals itself, but it can also be seen as an ecosystem, in which creatures can emerge between the different sprays of water.
Mints on Wednesday - 407 pieces in the set.
Price: 72 -> 60 -> 36 -> 24 Tezos
Changes every 3 minutes.
Beautiful iterations of triangles mixed throughout. Some of them have a look of depth while others have flatter feel to them. I really love these kinds of abstract works.
This morning I thought about all the work I did with triangles... the idea came to me that the right triangle is the symbol of creation...(…)
The hypotenuse is the love that unites and gives life. The tip of the triangle is the uterus which makes the space grow.
LIA DREI (Diaries, 2004)
These caught my eye while scrolling through the launch calendar. I really like the color palettes and patterns. Not a lot of information on this one yet. Hoping to see more outputs in the future.
This piece is for me is all about nostalgia and good memories of 99-02 and learning to make art with code.
Nodes and connections blew my mind when I was starting out and I saw them. I remember when I used them for the first time in an installation, the people involved and a more innocent time.
This piece is full of memories but has been pushed into the modern age with all my knowledge gathered over the years.
The animations initially caught my eye on this one. Curious to see if this is interactive and animated. This will be there first release on fx(hash), though they have released some really cool work on Superare. They have done some amazing work that blends photography and generative art.
Ambiguous space, where matter is an ungraspable mathematical structure without any substance on its own. The objects take different shapes depending on our point of view.

Very much looking forward to the last three. I've been following Alessandro's wips for a while now. Glad to see the project coming out soon. Thanks for the discoveries, once again, my friend!
