Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. We are here with the next iteration of the fx(hash): Weekly Roundup. Last week we covered the release of fx(hash) 2.0 and the new calendar system. We covered a handful of projects coming out and now there are even more on the calendar. This is going to be incredibly tough for people to pick and choose what to mint out of all these amazing projects. I’m going to cover a lot of projects in this article, but there are still a ton I’m not able to cover. There are just to many projects coming out. I recommend you go and check out the calendar to really get an idea of how much there really is and check out some great projects I may have missed.
Lets dive in.
This article will just cover the fx(hash) calendar and projects listed on it currently. A lot of these are still WIPs and may not show the project exactly how it may mint later in the week. Incredibly excited for this upcoming week and all the amazing art that is coming.
? - Untitled Open Edition Project - Releasing December 1st
Pretty awesome to see ciphrd releasing a project on the first day of the 2.0 release. It’s a collab with an artist that hasn’t released on fx(hash) before. Not a lot of information yet on price, but we do know it will be an open edition. The gif below looks insane, really curious to see more of the project in action.

Monograph - Releasing December 1st
This one reminds me of some art that I can't quiet put my finger on. Was there a style or typography from the 60s that had a similar look or feel? Either way I really like all the outputs from this project so far.
This project explores a subdivision grid and its layered fluctuating regions of density. The resulting grid is populated with shapes, rounded with some luscious bezier-curves.
triangles (wip) - Releasing December 1st
Tyler should be a well known name around these parts. They have released some fantastic projects in the past and this looks to be another beautiful project to look forward to.
a work in progress

Komšije - Releasing December 1st
Another household name in the Tezos community. Bruce dropping another amazing generative architecture project. Can things be minimalistic and complex at the same time? This is one of my top picks out of all the new releases coming out for 2.0.
Komšije (kohm-shee-ye) means 'neighbors' in Serbian. It is an exploration of architectural massing and composition based on the golden ratio and a sense of community.
We Dreamt in the Sun - Releasing December 1st
I’m a huge fan of Jeff’s work and this project is a prefect example of why. Really excited to see where this one goes.
An animated generative work-in-progress. More detail to come as I figure things out.
Ratio - Releasing December 1st
I met the Night Sea duo in Marfa and instantly became a fan of their work. They had an amazing live plotting & audio project there and they really impressed me. This is animated with generated audio and is their first release on fx(hash). Lets give them a warm welcome.
Click here to see the tweet. Example of the animation with audio.
Why do we tune an instrument? Why do certain chords create tension while others feel calm? Night Sea presents "Ratio", a generative audiovisual piece examining the underlying acoustics of tuning systems. By considering the relationship between sound frequencies rather than musical notes, the piece explores the possibilities of harmony without the constraints of an instrument.
Dashing City - Releasing December 2nd
This is a really cool cityscape project. I really like the colors and lights emanating from the city below. There is a feel of life to it.
The speed, hype, and excitement in the air are all brought to life by the people of this vibrant city. The Dashing City is a place where densely packed and brightly lit buildings create an incredible streetscape that seems to be celebrating the spirit of the city.
Here, we celebrate the new era of fxhash, which has connected the Ethereum blockchain to the platform. In this city, many different chains, diverse creations, and unique perspectives come together, each with its own strengths and weaknesses, yet always connected to one another.
unTie - Releasing on December 2nd
Something about geometric shapes in the background with abstract work progressing in the foreground. Just something that can work so well together when done right.
I'm sure many of you, like me, are not people who actively put their true feelings out there. This may be what is often referred to as introversion and shyness. However, our inner world is often very full of emotions. We have that one switch or lock on the door of our heart that is usually closed. It's used to protect ourselves, or to hide ourselves. But, we also need that one moment to let the budding emotions inside us blossom. Yes, maybe it's now! It's time to unTie that knot that's been tied for a long time, let the cheer be released, let's cheers, and let's celebrate!
Duet (Preview) - Releasing on December 2nd
This one has a neat ambient feel to it. Like a computers interpretation of a score of music.
A generative performance between improvisation and composition, between precise instructions and free interpretation, between synthetic and natural sounds, between human and machine. A time-based piece where the computer becomes composer, conductor and performer all at once, generating a constant stream of sound and visuals alongside musical scores to be played by human musicians. A series of unique NFTs: Stills derived from the performance, deconstructed versions of the musical scores, reminiscent of the ephemeral.
Plottable Era: (II) Medieval - Releasing December 2nd
Another artist I’m no stranger to. He has a really cool style and does some great plotter work. A cool video below of some plotter work from this project.
The series of Plottable Era continues! 18 months after the release of (I) Primitive (https://www.fxhash.xyz/generative/16313), the second era is finally getting ready for fxhash 2.0 !
The photo are some prototype previews showing what i'm cooking right now!
Orbitals - Releasing on December 2nd
Mr. Mallory! I collected his first project on fx(hash) and he has been a long time supporter. Great to see another project coming out from him.
An article covering it's creation.
Orbitals captures the essence of life's serendipitous collisions, when seemingly unrelated events converge in our journeys and generate a stroke of fortune.
It raises the question of the true nature of these moments. Are they guided by luck, or by a deeper synchronistic pattern that eludes our understanding? And what about the opposite, and all the potentials that have been lost to eternity because of events that never collided?
Orbitals is composed solely of circles to symbolize the collision of events in our lives. And just as some of those circles appear to be lines, the true nature of life's collisions may only become clear with a broader perspective.
Oneiric Places - Releasing on December 2nd
He released Rückkopplung earlier this year, possibly one of the best drops of the year on fx(hash). It’s crazy to see another painterly dream like project from him of this quality.
What you dream is what you get.
Natureless - 質生塵 - Releasing December 3rd
I really love the look and feel of these. There is a very dark mood to them.

Yuragi - Releasing December 3rd
This is the project I’m most looking forward to during the 2.0 release. This is an absolutely beautiful release. The paring of audio and visuals in this project are so well done. Check the link below to see a preview of it in action. A big congrats to Kazu on this release.
Tweet showcasing the animation & audio.
This work represents the interaction and flow of objects of various scales through animation and audio.
Even seemingly stable phenomena are in constant flux when viewed on different scales of size and time, and there is no such thing as an unchanging situation. Each object is as small as a grain of sand when viewed as a whole, and no single object alone can affect the whole, but is swallowed up by the larger currents and fleetingly disappears, emitting a fleeting color.
I feel that the life of a person is like this.
INACTION - Releasing on December 3rd
Some beautiful abstract work. Always wonderful to find new artists to follow.
Soft and yielding,
Tender but unwavering,
Dissolving the rigidity, effortlessly.
Embody the strength of gentle persistence.
Transforming without molding,
It’s all about discovering contentment and pure joy in the art of inaction.
This article covered the first 3 days of fx(hash) 2.0. December 1st through December 3rd. Next week we cover the rest of the first week of the 2.0 release. See ya then.
