Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. We are here with the next iteration of the fx(hash): Weekly Roundup. There is a nice amount of abstract art to cover this time around. It seems I tend to feature that genre most of the time. Pretty cool to see that we’ve got to our twenty fifth issue in this series. That is a lot of art to share.
Lets dive in.
Mints on Monday - 128 pieces in the set.
Price: 4 Tezos
These are really nice vibrant and noisy pieces with the occasional monochrome output. I spent a good amount of time exploring this one.
"Colorific" is a generative (100% code) abstract artwork of mainly colorful shapes, transformed and mixed in a final natural-looking media result.
Vivid colors were used where was possible with the exception of the rare gray scale items and some algorithmic randomly based, less colorful options.
Technically, p5js graphic elements, shapes, etc drawn in a graphic buffer, processed by a custom fragment shader to their final result emphasizing in rich colors, random directions and texturing. All are pure code, no images used.
Mints on Tuesday - 200 pieces in the set.
Price: 3 Tezos
Another really cool abstract work. I really like the backgrounds painterly look. This project is made with AI, coding, & image composition. I’m curious how varying the outputs will be. They only show us sixteen to preview.
The inspiration for this work stems from Ilya Kabakov’s series 'Holidays’.
Created in 1987, this collection of twelve paintings delves into the complex emotions of contradiction and duality. It explores the discord between external reality and an individual's internal psychological state, highlighting moments when the outer world fails to align with one's inner experiences. The notion of a 'holiday' within the series implies a yearning to escape reality, if only temporarily.
The artwork achieves a sense of depth through intricate compositions and a play of interacting layers. Over the abstract background, which inherits the plasticity and color palette from our previous works, we superimpose a regular grid, reminiscent of sweets and candy wrappers.
In our ever-changing world of perpetual decay and renewal, we constantly seek ways to restore and rediscover joy.
The most important meal of the day by Christophe Choffel
Mints on Wednesday - 128 pieces in the set.
Price: 12 Tezos
A really neat and unique project from Christophe. They are animated and interactive with a nice little menu built in to play with. Enjoyed the experience of playing with this project.
An amalgam of feelings about the days shortening and the weather greying, while still needing to get a spring in my step in the morning. So colors, motion, and a trying to get a "pleasing" feel to it.
Maybe all you need for breakfast is art? (and coffee)
Mints on Sunday - 512 pieces in the set.
Price: 3 Tezos
This one is indeed for the param lovers. A lot to explore and I didn’t even scratch the surface with the outputs. This will be a fun mint to play with. I’m not usually a params fan, but this project was different.
This one is for the params lovers!

Another great one! Julia’s work is so good. I like her previous collection, Modular Ruinology, as well.
