Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. We are here with the next iteration of the fx(hash): Weekly Roundup. There is not a lot going on this week. Covering a few new releases and one release from last week that I really liked.
Lets dive in.
Mints on Monday - 256 pieces in the set.
Price: 4 Tezos
I’ve followed Carlo Lato’s on fx(hash) and this one is a little different from the others. They were more 2D or flat looking compared to this. I like that they kept a glitch aesthetic. They incorporated their style with it rather well.
Isometric and Glitch, order and chaos, two apparently incompatible art forms, two completely different worlds, two types of art that I love.
This collection aims to combine these two styles without distorting them.
Mints on Tuesday - 64 pieces in the set.
Price: 1 Tezos
Kusamehewa is another artist I’ve covered a few times in the past. They have had a lot of cool projects on fx(hash). They are always changing it up and trying new things with each one. I think their bio nicely sums up their approach to art.
We are artists and mathematicians. We have always been fascinated by the relationship between mathematics and art and what they can create together to surprise and delight us.
NS1: SKETCH was released a few weeks ago. And the premise was you hold an NS1 and you will be able to mint an NS2: GRWOTH a week or so later. The first would be a sketch of an architecture layout of your building. The next mint would be the building overgrown with nature after being abandoned. A little sad I missed out on this one as I really love this genre of generative art. These turned out to be wonderful diptychs.
Once built, the "Non Spaces" were filled with life and eventually abandoned. Nature then became the new inhabitant of those places.

I love the 2D glitch over 3D and the extended vertical length in the Lato collection.
