Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. We are here with the next iteration of the fxhash: Weekly Roundup. Just a few projects to go over this week and one set of projects that came out last week that I want to showcase. With the state of the market and NFTs in general right now, It’s nice to focus on the art with these articles.
Lets dive in.
Mints on Monday - 256 pieces in the set.
Price: 2.5 Tezos
This is the third release in a series. This is a more abstract version of the three. I really like all of the projects in this series. They are wonderful glitch styled landscapes.
”Third chapter of the trilogy dedicated to Stephen Wolfram's cellular automata.”

Mints on Tuesday - 35 pieces in the set.
Price: 2 Tezos
This small collection is a nod towards some of the greats. They drew inspiration from artworks like Meridian and Anticyclone. They really remind me of the surfaces of planets like Jupiter and Saturn. I know this artist has a love for space as this project started out as a depiction of a Nebula.

This project reminds me of old BBS systems I would dial into back in the 90s. They would always have a big ASCII picture for the intro when you logged in. A lot of nostalgia packed into this one for me. I really like the animation of each piece, they have a nice flow to them. Each link below the artwork takes you to the animated version. You should check it out live to really see the work as intended.

At this point it should be no mystery that I am a fan of Ty Vek’s work. After I wrote this article about them a while back, they have been on a short list of Artist's I wanted to collect from. When they posted a tweet about this new series of projects and the reserves for holders of their previous projects. I instantly went and bought an Artifice.
Artifice #272 from my collection
Artifice is a project I’ve wanted for a while and I’m very happy my hand was forced to collect one. Now that I held this I had a chance to mint a Self, Id. One of three new projects that came out over a three day period. The reserves would be over allocated, but I didn’t think there would be a gas war like the public mint was going to have. If I could mint a Self, Id I was guaranteed mints for the next two following projects. Public mint was out in seconds, it was a gas war. The reserves were a lot slower and gave me some time to mint which was nice. I was at work and had to help a customer right when it started. I feel like I got really lucky there. In a weeks period I went from owning zero projects to owning four. Wonderful how these things work out some times. I’ll post my mints and a few others from each project below. Congrats to Ty Vek for a great reception for all three projects. It’s well deserved.
