Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. We are here with the next iteration of the fxhash: Weekly Roundup. It’s shitcoin season and the ETH blockchain is barely usable with gas prices at the highest they’ve been in a long time. Lots of fxhash projects are in the red and have been slowly bleeding over the last few months. With Tezos hovering around a dollar, I’ve found this to be a great time to put in some lowball offers. With the new collection wide bidding on fxhash, I’ve picked up a couple nice pieces for cheaper than I should of. It may be the time to pick up that peace that you’ve always wanted. With all that said, we have some new projects to check out below.
Lets dive in.
Pixel grid by krach
Mints on Monday - 400 pieces in the set.
Price: 8 Tezos
This is a really cool project. I love the flow of the pixels & noise and it has some great color palettes. You can toggle layers of the work to show different versions of the same piece.
“Even after minting, you can continue to play and modify your token. Clicking on the canvas changes colors within the selected color pairs for each row. Pressing the "c" key toggles between the defined color pairs or random assignment within the chosen palette. Pressing "v" key allows you to hide/show the pixels, while "b" and "n" keys can toggle both types of lines in this generative composition.”

Cube Deconstruction by Abelard
Mints on Monday - 64 pieces in the set.
Price: 0.25 Tezos
Another great creation by this artist. I’ve minted a few of their works in the past. All of their art is based off of L-Systems. It’s been really cool watching their work evolve over the last few months.
“L-systems were introduced and developed in 1968 by Aristid Lindenmayer, a Hungarian theoretical biologist and botanist at the University of Utrecht. Lindenmayer used L-systems to describe the behaviour of plant cells and to model the growth processes of plant development.”

Pixel Blots by Ryan
Mints on Monday - 128 pieces in the set.
Price: 5 Tezos
This project was in last weeks article as well. I wasn’t sure what had happened to it, but it looks like it got pushed back a week. So here we are again with a few more WIPs. A really cool take on the Rorschach or Inkblots test in psychology.

Mints on Monday - 50 pieces in the set.
Price: 3 Tezos
It should be no secret by now that I like generative landscape art. This one has a very nice atmosphere and feel to it, almost painterly in a way. It is some beautiful work.

Price: 15 -> 11 -> 7 -> 3 Tezos

This one is pretty unique and has some great outputs. Absolutely loved the black and white ones I saw. It also has 50% of the royalties going to the minter.
The name Vermes is Latin for worm.
“Throughout world mythology and related literature, worms have been significant figures. Although they were once referred to as various creatures, including snakes, lindworms, serpents, and dragons, today the term "worm" carries both connotations of death and rebirth.”
