fxhash: Weekly Roundup #02
Looking at upcoming projects minting this week.
Hello and welcome to The Culture Project. Here we are with the next iteration of the Weekly Roundup. Going through this weeks projects on fxhash and there isn’t a lot posted past Tuesday yet. There are some cool things dropping at the beginning of the week that we can look at. I changed the format up a little bit, make it easier to find the important information. I went back and updated #01 as well. Lets dive in.

Some Magicvoxel pieces to make some Magic Cubes. This project has some Tesseract vibes to it, but different enough to be unique. There is a real nice variety of outputs in this one.

Metaverse Flora Part 2 by Abelard

This is a pretty cool looking project, the outputs look like abstract flowers. It’s their second project on fxhash and the second one in this series. These are an abstract view on the growth processes of plants using L-systems.

I’ve been a collector of Hevey’s work for a while now and a huge fan. Elements of this project are based off star trails you would see in long exposure photography. I’ve taken photos like these in the past while camping, this project has a very nostalgic feeling for me. It also has an animated aspect to it, where the star trails are moving. A very nice added touch to the work. I’ll have a video below showing the work in action. Also a photograph I took that shows this effect.

This is another project I’m really looking forward to this week. We are familiar with his work in our community. We collected his Art Blocks work Maps of Grief a while back and gave it to a community member. This is his first release on fxhash and I’m really enjoying the outputs from it.

This is anther artist I have followed for a while. They have a unique style and release some cool projects. This one is an interactive work that has some similarities to their last project Aerial, which wasn’t interactive. It has two pieces to each one. A 2D and a 3D interactive piece of art. I recommend checking it out in live mode.

This is another really cool project and quite different from what the artist has done in the past. Their work has been nature & plant based until now. I love the theory of the ghost in the machine, the conscious being more intangible than a physical form. I feel like this captured that well.
