This is an intro to using & navigating the Tezos blockchain. I will cover two of the most popular wallets, some Tezos NFT marketplaces, and a few sites to check out. If you are new to Tezos, this article aims to help you navigate the space. Lets jump in.
Wallets
First things first. You have to have a wallet to interact with Tezos marketplaces. There are tons of very good tutorials on how to setup Tezos wallets. Below are the two wallets I recommend. I personally use the Kukai wallet, but both of these wallets are good choices. Watch the video’s below to see how to set them up. If you already have a Tezos wallet, you can move on to the next section.
Temple Wallet: https://templewallet.com/ about Follow this link to read about the team behind the Temple Wallet and follow the download link to install. The video below will help with setting it up.
Kukai Wallet: https://wallet.kukai.app I really love the simplicity of this wallet. You can attach it to a gmail or twitter account. Very easy to setup and use.
Be sure to write down your seed phrase (the string of random words generated as you create a new wallet). Keep it somewhere safe (preferably not only on a digital device). If you ever lose this phrase or let someone else get access to it, you risk losing your assets for good.
Don’t forget to delegate your Tezos to a Baker. Which is the equivalent of staking a coin. When you delegate to a baker, it does not lock your XTZ. You can still spend / hold your coins in the wallet while accumulating more coins from delegating.
Tezos Markets
https://objkt.com/ - Objkt’s goal is to enable price discovery and provide tools that make it easier for the community to buy and sell NFTs on Tezos. It’s a very robust website & has the most features out of all of them so far. You can look at all the NFT’s you own across the different Tezos marketplaces on Objkt. Something you can’t do on most of the others. You can find artists you like and start following them, then you will get notifications when ever they post new art. I would start here and start exploring.
https://www.fxhash.xyz/ - FXhash is the OG space for generative art on Tezos. If you are into generative art than this is the site for you. I visit this site every day to see what new drops are coming. There are tons of new artists and established artists that release to FXhash daily.
https://versum.xyz/ - I’ve seen a lot of great artists post to this site as well. Not one I use all the time, but I do check it out randomly. You can definitely find some gems on this site that aren’t hosted on the other Tez marketplaces.
https://hic.af/ - Another popular marketplace. I don’t use it much, but know a lot of Tez users that do. Worth checking out if you’re new or have never heard of it.
https://teia.art/ - This one is not a site I use or really even like due to the layout. Some good artists that I follow have listed art here. Pretty much the only reason I put it on the list for now.
Tezos Domains
Tezos domains is the ENS of the Tezos blockchain. I’m a huge fan of ENS on Ethereum, when I heard about this project I had to look into it and ended up buying abnormality.tez. See the info graphics below to better understand what it’s used for.

Tz1and
Tz1and is a Virtual World. Think of Decentraland in its early stages, where you can walk around with an avatar. There is still plenty of real-estate to purchase at some low prices. It has a thriving community on discord and I really like the people running the project. You can talk to them directly in discord and find out more about it.

This is a site created & maintained by NFTBiker. Very cool of him to share these tools with everyone. There are lots of stats about your Tez wallet address. You can easily look up other wallet address's and see what they've been minting / selling. There is so much stuff on this site I can’t go over it all. Look at this graphic below to see a list of some features.
I’ll cover a few that I use from time to time.
If you are on a reserve list for someone’s upcoming drop, you are guaranteed a mint for that drop.
The reserve list is a really cool one that I check a lot. I’ve been on lists before because I held an artists work. But had no idea I was on a reserve list for a new release by that artist. Here is an example from my wallet.
One last cool feature from his site is the Live Feed. It will show you things that have been minted on the Tez blockchain in real time. I’ve found some new artists that I now collect from regularly because of the live feed.
As of now the site is free, but at some point it may be gated in some way.
This site was created and is maintained by https://twitter.com/NFTBiker
Give them a follow to stay up to date on the site and the future of it.
